History
Since 1957
Bostock Drafting & Design was founded in 1957 by George Bostock, Jr. Today his son, George Bostock III, carries on the family tradition he started learning when he was twelve years old.
George’s love for his clients has driven him to make each of their homes as individual as they are. His desire to create homes that will stand the test of time — and fit both form and function for the community — has also driven the next generation to join his vision.
Each family member has a hand in the business, but daughter Jenny Norris has taken on the role of partner to move Bostock Drafting & Design into the future.

About the owner
George Bostock III
George is a lifelong member of the community. He graduated from Longview High School in 1969, and he teaches Sunday School and enjoys worship services at Calvary Baptist Church.
George and his wife Linda have raised three children in Longview and have been rewarded with ten grandchildren — seven of them call East Texas home. George and Linda donated their time and energy as youth directors at Oil Bowl Lanes for eight years, helping to guide and educate the young people of the community. He is a life member of the Greater Longview Bowling Association and was inducted into their Hall of Fame in 1989.

Jenny Norris
Jenny was born and raised in Longview. She and her family also worship at Calvary Baptist, where they are very active in mission work. She is a graduate of Longview High School and has spent her life working in the family business in some capacity.
It was a strong love for the satisfaction she saw her father’s work bring — and the creativity and innovation involved — that caused her to take her place as the legacy holder for the family business. You may see her two daughters in the office, starting the next generation. She joins her father as a lifelong bowler as well.
Memberships & accomplishments
Bostock Drafting & Design stays current with industry trends through membership in the East Texas Building Association and the National Association of Home Builders.
- George Bostock has served as advisor to both Kilgore College and LeTourneau College in establishing the standards for their drafting and design classes
- In 1988 the East Texas Building Association, in coordination with the Zonta Club, chose Bostock Drafting & Design to create the design for its Working Women’s Dream Home
- Designs presented in the book developed for the Parade of Homes
- A+ rating with the Better Business Bureau
After so many years serving the community, George still lists his biggest accomplishment as his family’s happiness and continued involvement in his third-generation family business.
